Chatterbox have been the chosen design partner of Harlequin for many years but after seeing so much work pass through our hands which has needed the attention of a packaging professional we’ve elected to throw our doors open to all in the hope that we can lower project costs and increase the turnaround speed for everyone.
For startups to established producers we have the industry knowledge to make the difference to your project. We always have an eye on costs and sustainability and will advise on how to minimise the financial and environmental impact of your project.
We love designing on all medias but we specialise in design and artworking for retail packaging.
What’s the difference between design and artworking I hear you ask? Designing is when you let us take the lead and control the design process by consultation and interpreting what you need.
Artworking is driven by you – if you’re a hands on person we will take your design visuals or sketches and using industry software apply to them to the end product giving you exactly what you envisage. Either way you’re guaranteed the result you want all ready to go to print.
What makes us different to other design practices is that using CAD software powering a Zund plotter we can create fully bespoke packaging prototypes for your product – in house.
This saves you having to find a manufacturer to consult on the packaging and revert back to the designer saving time and money.
We will supply a white sample, correct for material and construction for you to test your product in. We can also digitally print direct to substrate and produce a final printed sample for you to inspect before pushing forward with production if required. The final CAD file can be supplied for manufacture anywhere in the world.
A further possibility is a 3D digital or augmented reality render which allows viewing of the pack from any angle on screen or projected with the help of your smart phone onto the desk in front of you.
This a fast and convenient method of pre-production visualisation especially if you need a colour range to be generated. All in all, Chatterbox is a one stop shop for packaging design – why not see how we can help your packaging?
